LOVERS AND OTHER STRANGER Audition Last Night

Last night's audition for LOVERS AND OTHER STRANGERS took me to Bay Ridge in Brooklyn...about an hour ride on the subway from my home. I read for the roles of Jerry, a man trying very hard to get a woman to go to bed with him and Johnny, a man's man who likes being the boss. I thought I read pretty well, but it all depends on what the director is looking for.

In the 1970 film, Jerry was played by Bob Dishy (BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS, DON JUAN DEMARCO) and Johnny was played by the late Harry Guardino (DIRTY HARRY, ANY WHICH WAY YOU CAN).
