Cheers to the Inwood Shakespeare Festival On THE MERCHANT OF VENICE

Last evening, I attended a production of Shakespeare's THE MERCHANT OF VENICE in Inwood Hill Park at 218th Street to support my ARSENIC AND OLD LACE friend and colleague Sean MacBride Murray, who doubled in the production in the great character roles of Solanio and Old Gobbo to great success.

The spirited production was part of the Inwood Shakespeare Festival, directed by Ted Minos and featured many wonderful performances. What I enjoyed most of all was the fact that the entire cast looked like they were having the time of their lives.

Ted created the festival as a way to bring free professional theatre, music and dance to the greater Inwood community.

I applaud Ted and his company on jobs well done.
